The Forest gets by with a little help from its friends--namely, Friends of the Berea College Forest. We provide more than 30,000+ volunteer service hours annually to help maintain and protect the natural and cultural resources and the scenic beauty of the Coconino National Forestâs Red Rock Ranger District. Friends of the Urban Forest operates on a community model, so it relies heavily on individuals in the community to give their time to the cause of planting and caring for San Franciscoâs trees.
